Potential applicants for variance requests should first meet with Planning & Zoning Department staff to determine if a variance is necessary. Board of Adjustment meetings are held on the second Monday of the month when there is a case to be heard.
Application paperwork must be completed and submitted to department staff no later than thirty days prior to the next meeting date. The application can be downloaded from the website or picked up at Town Hall.
Those wishing to appeal any order, requirement, decision or determination of the development code administrator may do so my requesting a hearing by the Board of Adjustment. Appeals must be submitted within thirty (30) days after rendition of the order, requirement, decision or determination by filing a written notice with the development code administrator and the town clerk. The written notice shall specify the grounds of the appeal.
