Kay & Ayres Davies Lighthouse Park
4931 South Peninsula Drive
Situated under the shadow of the historic Ponce DeLeon Light Station, this park was named in honor of our first Mayor and his wife, both of whom worked hard to establish the Town of Ponce Inlet. Ayres was instrumental in acquiring the Lighthouse and its surrounding buildings for the Town and continued to volunteer there until his death.
This three-acre park has swings, a slide and a climber and is ideal for picnics and relaxing after climbing the steps of the Lighthouse. The Mary Keller Bird Rehabilitation Center, Marine Science Center and Lighthouse Point Park are a short walk away. There is a public boat ramp here, with limited parking available.
Our Children’s Activity Committee holds their annual Easter and Halloween parties in this park, and the Town sponsored Fine Art Festival and Corvette Show are held here each spring.
