Timothy Pollard Memorial Park
4680 South Peninsula Drive
At their December 2007 meeting, the Town Council voted to name this park in honor of Ponce Inlet Officer Timothy Pollard, who died in the line of duty on September 22, 1987. A dedication ceremony will take place this spring, with a memorial ceremony each September.
This park is centrally located adjacent to the Fire Department and is the hub of much activity with its playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts. The new skate park opened in November.
Our new dog park, Happy Tails, is located just south of this park on South Peninsula Drive.
