The Ponce Partners program is designed to be a safety net for those who are either elderly, live alone, or have health problems. Any resident can become a member by completing a short application.
When you become a Ponce Partner you simply agree to contact the Police Department by phone each day anytime before noon. If we do not hear from you, we call to see if you are alright. If we are unable to reach you by phone we send an Officer out to check on your well being.
All too often those who are ill, elderly or live alone slip and fall or otherwise can’t call for help. This program is set up to ensure some form of communication each day. We have a great relationship with all of are Ponce Partners. If you or anyone you know are interested all you have to do is contact the Police Department or go to the “forms” link on this web site to get an application.
