PonceInletFL - Marine Patrol

Marine Patrol: was developed as a combined grant awarded to the City of Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach and the Town of Ponce Inlet. The platform is underway on most weekends, weather permitting, and holiday weekends. The crew is comprised of a combination of officers from the three agencies. The unit is tasked with the enforcement of municipal, state and Federal laws and to promote boating safety. The Boston Whaler platform is stored at the Port Orange Police Department, being completed outfitted with the necessary emergency equipment, five of the Department sworn personnel have been committed to additional training for this assignment
